How we begin

We start with a free in-home consultation to get a full understanding of your downsizing and moving needs. At the conclusion of our conversation, we will do a walk through of your home to more fully comprehend the size and scope of your move. We will explain our pricing and services, answer any questions that you have, and provide you with helpful information about the downsizing process. Within two business days we will provide a written estimate of all services discussed during the consultation for your consideration.


Planning for the move

Once you have selected the services that work best for your move, we will work with you to develop a timetime for the move. We will measure your new living space and then, using our space planning tools, help you determine which pieces of furniture will fit where in your new home.


The downsizing and sorting process

One of the most difficult aspects of a senior move is in the downsizing process. Whether you are making your own decisions, or you are an adult child making decisions about a parent's estate, a lifetime of memories are often tied to the items you now hold in your hand. We will help you through the process as you decide what to keep, what to sell, what to give to family or friends, what to give to charity, and how to dispose of the remainder. Once the sorting process is complete, we can make arrangements for your items to be destributed as you had intended.


Packing and unpacking

Our packing crew will take care with your items to make sure they arrive at their destination safely. Your items will be carefully unpacked and put in place so that you will feel at home as quickly as possible. All packing materials will be removed from your new home immediately.


Overseeing the move

We will be onsite during the move to ensure that all goes smoothly and no items are left behind. You can have peace of mind knowing that all details are being taken care of.


Just before closing the door

Once you are settled in your new home, we will return to your former home to complete contracted tasks. This may include hauling away rubbish, overseeing home cleaning services, or any other agreed upon work to get your home ready for the next occupant.
